The LOQIT LMS may be accessed via the online application. This means that the administrator can perform his management tasks via any mobile device, but also from a stationary PC. After log-in, the administrator opens the LOQIT LMS Dashboard. The administrator may also create sub-administrators. These are users who have more rights than regular users. This includes, for instance, team leaders who may open a locker in an emergency.

In case of an emergency or a safety check, the administrator can open all lockers in a certain locker block at the touch of a button on the Dashboard. As well as using the LOQIT LMS, the administrator also has the option of performing his/her management tasks via the touch screen terminal.

The administrator can also easily use a mobile device to block the locker of a given user. This may be useful when a certain user is suspected of keeping illegal items in his/her locker. After being blocked, the user can no longer open the locker, and the security service or the police can be contacted.

LoQit provides software updates via it’s dealer network. This includes all core application updates, firmware updates, software fixes and new features made available.

The implementation of these updates is charged as an annual service fee or adhoc.

The LOQIT LMS system uses an electronic stepper motor to actuate the locking system. Stepper motors are almost impervious to mechanical shock or other impulses. This will prevent lockers from bursting open. Due to the integral design, the lock does not have any sharp corners or protruding parts. This reduces the risk of items being inadvertently left behind the lock when removing personal property. Wherever necessary, fibre-reinforced materials are used. If a locker door has been slightly shifted, the self-centring device makes sure that the locker will close properly.

The LOQIT LMS has the option to generate an active signal as a response to certain events. In the case of a certain event that needs to be communicated, the administrator will see an envelope symbol displayed on the LOQIT LMS Dashboard, indicating the number of messages. Details such as the relevant locker number and the time of the event can also be viewed.

Options that are eligible for an active signal:

  • Burglary attempt
  • Door Forced Open
  • Non-closure of a locker
  • Malfunction

In addition, there is a custom option to generate an email. This email can be sent to a specified email address, announcing that a certain event has been detected.

The software is web-based and can control an unlimited number of lockers. An API offers extensive possibilities to establish an interconnection with access control. The administrator can adjust the Dashboard to show only the most commonly used functionalities. Via the Dashboard, the administrator can change the rights of the users. If necessary, ACG can also facilitate a ?cloud? option.

In the case of a power failure, the lockers will remain closed. When Power is restored, the lockers may be used again. As soon as power is available again, the system will start up by itself. If it must be possible to open the lockers for a certain period of time during a power failure, an emergency power supply (UPS) is required. Data failure has no effect on the accessibility of the lockers.
